6-8 AM is the craziest time at our house. 👉 Wrangling my kids to get them dressed, fed, loved-on, and then off to daycare while trying to squeeze in some quiet time, prep for the day, and oh, be loving and present with my husband.

By the time 9am rolls around, I want to dive right into work but I know that I need to stop and center myself before the day really begins or I’ll feel uprooted and all over the place.

Do you ever feel like that? Like you’re doing so much and not enough all at once?

I think it’s an adult thing and definitely a parent thing…

Here’s what I’ve found to help! 👇

☕ Coffee. Ha! But in all seriousness, it’s part of my routine and even if the mornings are chaotic, I feel a little more grounded holding my favorite mug full of coffee.

💏 A supportive spouse. My husband Justin is seriously amazing. He’s not like the stereotypical dads you see on TV where he’s oblivious to his family’s needs or helpless in the kitchen. Nope! He shows up, is invested, active, and doesn’t view taking care of the kids as “helping” me but cause it’s his joy.

🙏 Faith. Motherhood is the best thing ever but there are days when I simply pray for help, grace, and sanity! Relying on Jesus for strength, encouragement, rest, and peace is the only reason I’ve made it this far in life.⠀

Truthfully, there are way more than 3 things that keep me going as a mom but I’ll leave it at that. 🙂 What keeps you going?
